Nicht umsonst spielen die unmittelbar vor Ort angefertigten Skizzen im Werk Tylles eine so große Rolle. In der Erarbeitung der großen Bilder wird die Summe aus den Erfahrungen vor Ort gezogen. Die Bestandsaufnahmen in den Skizzen werden in den großen Bildern neu kombiniert, durch neue Zusammenstellungen verstärkt und verdichtet.
Die Bilder sind wichtige Zeugnisse einer intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit den Problemen der heutigen Industriegesellschaft. Sie erschöpfen sich nicht in der Beschreibung technischer Einrichtungen, sondern machen die Bedingungen unter technisch dominanten Umständen sichtbar. In eindringlicher und bestechender Weise greift Tylle diese Thematik sehr differenziert auf, ohne in Verteufelung oder Verherrlichung der Technik zu geraten. Seine Bilder werden nach Jahren noch ein präzises und nachhaltiges Bild gegenwärtiger Arbeitssituation beschreiben. Für die Malerei der Gegenwart werden sie wichtige Zeugnisse sein.
